C. Guirguis vince la categoria Under 25!

Michele Febbraro – Team Manager SevenHills Motorsport

SEVENHILLS MOTORSPORT SHINES AT MUGELLO: OVERALL PODIUM, UNDER 25 VICTORY AND IMPRESSIVE COMEBACKS IN THE RS CUP!

An exciting Race 1 for SevenHills Motorsport at the Mugello Racing Weekend: Bonifazi claims an overall podium, Guirguis wins the Under 25 category, while Stefani and Capra deliver determined comeback performances.

An action-packed opening race of the RS Cup 2026 weekend took place at the legendary Mugello Circuit, where SevenHills Motorsport fielded four Renault Clio IV race cars.

It was a race full of excitement, unexpected incidents and rewarding results for the team, which demonstrated strong competitiveness across the different categories.

Andrea Bonifazi claims an overall podium!

An outstanding performance from Andrea Bonifazi, who delivered a fast and consistent race to finish 3rd overall and 1st in the Over 50 category.

Starting from sixth position in official practice, Andrea made the most of his Renault Clio’s potential, moving up the order and securing a well-deserved podium finish.

An excellent result that rewards both the driver’s efforts and the hard work of the entire SevenHills Motorsport technical crew.

C. Guirguis wins the Under 25 category!

Another great achievement for C. Guirguis, who delivered an impressive performance behind the wheel of Renault Clio number 58.

The young driver secured 1st place in the Under 25 category, setting very encouraging lap times and demonstrating speed, determination and strong potential.

This result represents an important step forward and provides a solid foundation for further development in future races.

Manuel Stefani: a determined comeback after an unfortunate incident

It was a frustrating race for Manuel Stefani, who had shown excellent pace during official practice, setting the fourth-fastest time overall.

During the opening stages, while running in third position, Stefani was caught up in an unfortunate incident when Beltrami spun directly in front of him, forcing Manuel into a manoeuvre that resulted in a spin of his own.

Despite dropping down the order, Manuel refused to give up and fought his way back through the field, eventually finishing 13th overall.

Although the final result did not reflect his true potential, his determination and fighting spirit were clear throughout the race.

P. Capra: impressive race pace and a strong recovery

A very positive performance also came from P. Capra, who showed significant improvement throughout the race.

After a challenging official practice session, Capra found an excellent rhythm, setting competitive lap times and gaining several positions.

He eventually crossed the finish line in 7th position overall, having been 13th in official practice.

Gaining six positions represents one of the most encouraging performances of the weekend and highlights the driver’s progress.

Michele Febbraro – SevenHills Motorsport Team Manager

“I am very pleased with the work of the entire team. Running four cars and achieving these results is something we can all be proud of.

Andrea drove an excellent race, securing an overall podium and the Over 50 category victory. Guirguis showed great potential, taking the Under 25 win with some very encouraging lap times.

I feel particularly sorry for Manuel because he had the pace to fight at the front. Unfortunately, the incident at the start compromised his race, but he reacted like a true racing driver, never giving up and fighting until the very end.

I am also especially pleased with Capra’s performance. He delivered a very strong race, showing excellent pace and making an impressive recovery through the field.

These results confirm that we are moving in the right direction. Now we need to stay focused and continue giving our best.”

SevenHills Motorsport looks ahead to Race 2 with confidence

The opening race at Mugello delivered a highly positive result for SevenHills Motorsport, with an overall podium, two category victories and encouraging performances from all four drivers.

The team is already focused on preparing for Race 2, aiming to build on these results and continue fighting for strong finishes.
