TARTABINI WINS AGAIN IN RS CUP RACE 2 AT MISANO

Paolo Tartabini is unstoppable, taking another RS Cup victory by winning the second race at Misano Adriatico too. The driver from Ancona won in harder fashion this time, beating Riccardo Rogari and Fulvio Casciandrini only in a sprint to the line after a nail-biting fight. Completing Seven Hills Motorsport’s success was a sixth-place overall finish for a superb Massimo Massaro, who gave way to Mariella only at the last moment in the battle for victory among the Over class. Manuel Stefani finished ninth overall in the Clio5, while it went badly for Daniele Pegolo and Andrea Bonifazi, who were caught up in a multiple collision at the restart after the Safety Car. The blameless Pegolo, who was in the middle of a fine recovery drive, was forced to retire, while Bonifazi was shown the black flag and ordered into the pits.
