TARTABINI ON POLE IN THE RS CUP AT VALLELUNGA

The RS CUP returns at Vallelunga and Paolo Tartabini shows his claws, taking pole position in official qualifying. The driver from the Marche finished four tenths ahead of Pierluigi Sturla, his main rival in the title race. The other SevenHills drivers also performed very well, with Manuel Stefani leading the Over class and third overall ahead of an ever-improving Daniele Pegolo. Fifth place was an Umbrian derby, with Andrea Bonifazi recovering from a difficult first part of qualifying to take the spot from Massimo Massaro of Terni. Race 1 of the RS CUP is set for 09:10 on Sunday morning.
