SIX SPEARHEADS FOR SEVENHILLS AT MISANO…
The SevenHills team of the Febbraro family is about to return to action in the RS Cup, which next weekend stages its second double-header of the season on the very fast Misano Adriatico circuit. As ever, the squad at the wheel of the Clio 1600 Turbos is feisty and varied.
Veneto’s Manuel Stefani and Paolo Tartabini from the Marche return with combative intentions in the overall standings after the excellent start in Rome, while Max Ciocca aims to recover valuable points in the Over 50 classification. After his terrible bad luck in qualifying at Vallelunga, Andrea Bonifazi is looking for a quick comeback and his first points of the season. SevenHills also brings the quick Federico Uguccioni to his first start of the season on his home track; he emerged from the local events of the Coppa Italia Turismo and then specialised in Renault Clios. Further high-level surprises, as at Vallelunga, cannot be ruled out. Also present is the naturally aspirated Renault New Clio 2000 of Massimo Massaro, who aims to get the better of the fast Sicilian Nunzio Anastasi in their battle.
The programme is the traditional one, with a single 25-minute qualifying session on Saturday at 13:45. The first race, a night race, is at 20:50 and lasts 25 minutes, while the final race is on Sunday at 15:20, again lasting twenty-five minutes.
